Zoledronic Acid Infusion
Product Name: Zoledronic Acid Infusion
Common Name: Zoledronic Acid
Strength: 5 mg/100 ml vial
Description:
Zoledronic Acid Infusion is a bisphosphonate used to treat a variety of bone conditions, including osteoporosis and bone complications from cancer. It works by inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts, cells that break down bone tissue, thereby helping to maintain bone strength and reduce the risk of fractures. Zoledronic acid is also used to lower high calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia) that can occur with certain cancers.
Zoledronic Acid Infusion is typically administered as a slow intravenous infusion and is highly effective in preventing bone loss, treating bone metastases, and managing the effects of bone-related cancers.
