Description:
Mesna Injection is a detoxifying agent primarily used to reduce the harmful effects of certain chemotherapy drugs on the bladder. Mesna works by binding to toxic metabolites in the urine, neutralizing them and preventing damage to the bladder lining.
Mesna does not interfere with the antitumor activity of these chemotherapy drugs and is typically administered alongside them to ensure protection from bladder toxicity.
