Description: 

Sodium cromoglycate eye drops are classified as mast cell stabilizers. They are utilized to relieve and prevent symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, including itching, tearing, and redness. Symptomatic relief typically occurs within 2 to 3 days of initiating treatment. Sodium cromoglycate functions by acting on specific cells to inhibit the release of substances that trigger allergic reactions.

Indication and  Usage:

Sodium cromoglycate eye drops are indicated for the treatment of allergic eye conditions, including allergic conjunctivitis and hay fever. These conditions may present with symptoms such as itching, redness, discomfort, and watery discharge from the eyes.
