Description:
Rabeprazole is an antiulcer agent classified as a proton pump inhibitor. Domperidone is a dopamine antagonist with antiemetic properties; it has limited ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. Its antiemetic effects are likely a result of both peripheral (gastrokinetic) actions and the antagonism of dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone, located outside the blood-brain barrier in the area postrema.
