Desloratadine is a tricyclic H1-antihistamine utilized for the management of allergic conditions. It is the active metabolite of loratadine. Desloratadine selectively acts as an inverse agonist at the histamine H1 receptor and exhibits antagonistic properties at all subtypes of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors.
