Sodium Feredetate, Folic Acid, and Vitamin B12 Tablets contain a water-soluble and highly bioavailable form of iron. The average iron absorption from iron EDTA is estimated to be approximately three times greater than that from ferrous sulfate. Low doses of sodium feredetate can yield results comparable to higher doses of ferrous fumarate.

Indications and Usage:

Sodium Feredetate, Folic Acid, and Vitamin B12 Tablets are indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Iron deficiency anemia
  • Pernicious anemia and megaloblastic anemia
  • Anemia during pregnancy
  • Severe blood loss due to heavy menstruation or surgical procedures
  • Anemia secondary to rheumatoid arthritis
