Lactobacillus rhamnosus is a short, Gram-positive, anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium that commonly occurs in chains. Certain strains of L. rhamnosus are utilized as probiotics and are especially effective in addressing female-related infections, particularly challenging cases of bacterial vaginosis.
Indications & Usage:
Lactobacillus rhamnosus is predominantly found in the healthy female genitourinary tract and is beneficial for restoring balance during dysbiotic bacterial overgrowth associated with active infections.
- Diarrhea: L. rhamnosus has been demonstrated to be effective in preventing rotavirus-induced diarrhea in children, as well as in the prevention and treatment of various types of diarrhea in both children and adults.
